Rick Scarborough on homosexuality: “The look on their faces testifies against them”

Here’s a new one.

Isaiah makes an interesting observation about homosexuality: “The look on their faces testifies against them” (Isa. 3:9). Have you ever noticed most homosexuals have a certain look that is reflected in their eyes? The King James Version describes it as the “shew of their countenance.” There are a number of theories as to why that is so, but the fact is undeniable. As a rule, homosexuals cannot totally disguise themselves because it is reflected in their eyes. Jesus said:

The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.

This helps explain a number of things regarding homosexuals. Though they love to be portrayed as gentle, caring, and sensitive human beings, do not be deceived. Many homosexuals can become very violent and appear to have no hesitancy to inflict property damage or even bodily harm to anyone who would dare to disagree with them. Scenes of the 1992 Republican National Convention in Houston quickly come to mind. Police officers in every major city in America can testify to the level of violence homosexuals can an will inflict.
A few things.

1) If you click on the link for Matthew 6:22-24, you’ll find that a small, but important portion of that quote has been left out:

22"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. 23But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

24"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
Now, why on Earth any Christian would want to hide the fact that they worship the money they make by spreading unwarranted hatred for gays, through lies, and in God’s name, is simply beyond me.

2) He gave no footnote, or any other identifying criteria in regard to the alleged 1992 RNC incident.

3) To think that one non-contextual incident 16 years ago is ample evidence that same-gender attraction -- in and of itself -- causes violent behavior, says WAY more about you, Rick Scarborough, than it does about homosexuals like me.

And as far as that noticeable evil-eye trait that all we gays supposedly share, I’m sure that advice will come in quite handy for unscrupulous anti-gay bigots like you.

From now on when they see wolves in ocular clothing such as this…

…they will now recognize that person to be gay.

You’re quite the cultural lifesaver.

Rick Scarborough: Sodomy = Dishonesty

I apologize for the lateness of this report, but I think the leap of "logic" quote and ensuing extrapolation from it are definitely noteworthy.
~~~
I caught this Janet Folger interview with Rick Scarborough of Vision America about a month ago while driving in the car.
@ the 12:18 mark:
Janet Folger: Tell us what you were mentioning to me before the air, before the program, about, well, we want to be insured, if you don’t have insurance, here’s the way to get it. Go ahead.
Rick Scarborough: So listen, homosexuality is a sinful lifestyle. Therefore homosexuals, and this is just going to burn people that disagree. But homosexuals by definition are immoral people. They’re breaking the breaking the moral codes and standards of God.
Now, if a man will commit the act of sodomy, you can pretty well decide he will do about anything, include lying.
A man has AIDS, he lives in Texas, he can’t get insurance anywhere, all he’s got to do is find another man to marry him, and they do that by going to California. They don’t have to honor the marriage, they don't have to stay in the marriage - they go to California, get married, come back and demand that the husband/wife, which ever other role the person the party is playing, then puts him on his insurance policy, and some company has just embraced a $300,000 doctor bill, because they’re now married, and you have to insure the spouse.
You will see, in my opinion, thousands of these illicit marriages, performed, just for such rationales as that. Demanding that their immorality, and the consequences be covered by someone else’s insurance.
Now, the buffoonery here is apparent to anyone with a working brain. His point though, is that the corrupt use of marriage is gay specific, specifically because gays are corrupt. But only those of us male gays who happen to have anal sex. You lesbian and straight couples who "commit" sodomy are perfectly in the clear.
In addition, Folger has a treasure trove of radio interviews that are in need of assessment. INCLUDING a listed interview with Paul Cameron (under Homosexuality & Marriage).
Janet Folger: "Next to Fort Lauderdale Florida, Randy’s on the line. Welcome Randy."
@ the 51:45 mark: Janet Folger, Faith2Action radio program from 6-6-08
Randy: Hello, how are you?
Janet Folger: Well, thanks.
Randy: Good, good, good. I am calling just [as an?] interject on this whole conversation. I love the conversation within itself. I come from a Christian background, and in the last 16 years lived a gay lifestyle until about 8 months ago. And knowing what the gay lifestyle has, and know how it--the, the motivation behind it is a sexual motivation. And inside of the sexual sin, then comes the sin--the drugs, and everything else, and then comes the breaking down of--um, of truth.
The sad part that we as Christian’s are, um, I guess making the mistake in, is, the way that we talk, even like on shows, or talk shows such as this, it’s in a very strong, um, um, almost with a sense of arrogance. Yes we’re trying to reveal what is so. But when you’re given the truth that transform [sic], I heard you say earlier in the commentary about, love, and when you’re echoing out God’s Word, we should be echoing out God’s word in a way of - with compassion and hope, because that’s what it was about, but often times…
Janet Folger: So, you’re right Randy. We’re just running out of time, just, so you were a homosexual, you are no longer practicing that lifestyle?
Randy: Right. Correct, correct.
Janet Folger: Praise God. What a testimony.
Rick Scarborough: And your words are well taken, because, sometimes in my zeal I get a little too forward, and a little too abrasive, it is never right to project arrogance, and I apologize to the listeners for that.
Janet Folger: Sometimes what unfortunately, you may sense in mine is fear - I see that there is risk of our freedoms being lost, but we’ve got to put our trust in God, and we need to obey Him, and speak that truth in love. Rick Scarborough, thanks so much, from Vision America - so grateful for all you’re doing my friend.
Rick Scarborough: You too, God bless.
Janet Folger: Bless you.
Update: Apparently it wasn't Randy Thomas of Exodus. I asked him and he said it wasn't him.
